An early 1950s gun, the Space Jet Machine Gun is a small wind-up toy that makes sounds like a machine-gun after the key on the side is turned and the trigger pulled. Still attached to its original price tag (of 80 yen) this particular specimen was discovered in its original box in a Japanese warehouse. This is one of the most fanciful of the Japanese space machine-guns, many of which tend to look much more "realistic"than this one. Length 8 1/2 inches.
